Recently our team at the Caño Palma research station had some unexpected visitors. A tour group visiting the area from the Netherlands ran into some boat troubles near by and received a tour of the site while their boat was being repaired.

Here is what they had to say after their visit, they even sent us some pictures.

On December 3, 2008 our boat stranded close to the Caño Palma station. We disembarked there and got treated to a visit to the museum and a dry place to stay until the boat was repaired.

We did leave donations, of course, but I wanted to say thank you for the kind reception and for the tour of the place.
